Cahill represented Barclays Capital Inc. as lead book-running managers and the other underwriters in connection with the public offering of $45,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 4.875% Convertible Senior Notes due 2020 by Alpha Natural Resources, Inc., one of America’s premier coal suppliers. Proceeds from the offering were used to refinance existing indebtedness and for general corporate purposes.
